Cancer free and revealing the new me!

Hi there!  It's been awhile since my last post and my apologies for not following up sooner.  Since late June I've had multiple tests to determine if the lymphoma was still in my bone marrow and in my lymph nodes.

I'm happy to report that the biopsy and scans are CLEAR!  However, my doctor still wanted me to do a few more rounds of chemo.  After that I rung the Survivor Bell!

Here is the link to the video https://vimeo.com/287558872 in case some of you have not yet seen it.  The password is dpb bell

I lost all my hair from the chemo and through trial and error I found some great scarves and hats to wear.  I looked at wigs but became a wig snob because none of them replicated my original hair!

But after a few weeks from the last chemo treatment my hair started growing back and I felt like I could begin again, continue to heal, and come back to my photography business!

You can check out my new look below!

Here's my schedule for the next few months.

AFTER NOVEMBER 1st:

I will be booking head shots, family shoots and mini holiday shoots.

For head shots I will have my basement studio and front garden available, or I can come to your office.

For family shoots and mini holiday shoots, I'll send out another reminder with details of my weekend availability in November and early December.

AFTER JANUARY 1st 2019:

I will be booking events as well as my editorial work for private schools.

BETWEEN NOW AND NOVEMBER 1st:

I will be revamping my equipment and my products and will keep you up to date.

I will be visiting my loved ones, gaining strength, getting massages and going to the beach!

Since this weekend unofficially marks the end of summer, I suggest you:

Play in the water, enjoy the sunshine and eat ice cream!

Selfies taken with my iPhone.  My new hair is dark brown flecked with generous amounts of white and feels so soft.  My kids think I look edgy and punk!  What do you think?!
